Split Between Two

Divorce is hard.  While scrolling on the internet looking for something to paint I came across this painting of a beautiful sunflower just chilling in a field soaking up some sun. I wanted in some way to represent my children split between homes, families, holidays, vacations, etc.  Split between two was painted on two panel canvas boards. The layers of acrylic work wonderfully together sharing the story of a single beautiful Sunflower split between two.
